When Trish McEntee first introduced me to WIN almost ten years ago, her comments were ‘Join WIN and you won’t look back… Not sure what I was letting myself in for, I duly signed on the bottom line and have never looked back! Ten years on I am still a member.
WIN is a remarkable network group providing a professional and social backdrop to help meet new friends and business associates- I always look forward to the events and to meeting the many new friends I have met along the way.

WIN provides opportunity to meet like minded women at interesting and stimulating events. The WIN programme is very varied; offering seminars on business start ups, visits to theatres and galleries, guest speakers, networking evenings, workshops on make-up and hair plus the annual reception at the Irish Embassy. I have very much enjoyed my membership of WIN.

WIN – Welsh Independence Now – is an organisation that seeks full independence for Cymru (Wales) from the UK, and to establish Caerwent as the capital, as it was the only town the Romans established in Wales. They hold bake sales and fund-raising dos, and concerts for male voice choirs., and thus far they have a fund of £985.14 in the Co-op Bank. Their initial aim is to purchase the Severn Bridge and then to privatise all the roads leading into Wales, thus establishing independence by sealing off the principality entirely. Oh, and they want to include Herefordshire. Not being Welsh, I am not a member.
I am, however, a member of the Women’s Irish Network which is much more fun and does a great deal of good whilst having a good time. Actually, I was one of the very first members, which gives me the elevated status of being a Founder Member. Respec’!

WIN offers the opportunity for women from many and varied walks of life to come together in a great variety of social settings. From the inspiring networking to the bawdy Bloomsday night to architect led walks there is feminine comradeship for all to enjoy.

My name is Anne O’Donnell and I have been a WIN member since November 2003. I work as an Optometrist and I was very fortunate that Trish McEntee ( a WIN founder member) was recommended to see me. Trish, in her own charming and enthusiastic way encouraged me to become a member and I haven’t looked back since.
Through WIN I have enjoyed meeting some very hard working, inspirational, generous, happy and enthusiastic people. I have also attended many interesting WIN events including Bloom’s Day Lunch, an evening in the House of Lords, a tour of interesting Architectural sites in London and Fashion Shows featuring collections from some of Ireland’s top Fashion Designers.
WIN is an inspirational and well worthwhile organisation. Members give generously of their valuable time to organise and attend splendid events. There is a fee to attend most events and the reward is that all these fees are donated to very deserving charities. I enjoy very much my association with WIN.
