WIN Events

We’ll be at the Porterhouse in Covent Garden, from 6 pm on a date to be announced, in November. We are firming up plans with another group that will be partnering up with us to network on the evening, following the incredibly successful event with Irish Film London!

The monthly meetup is an open event that also welcomes non-members and friends wanting to dip their toe into WIN. We typically have a few drinks and do our best to set the world to rights!

A reminder that the minimal ticket price will reserve the space for us and include some light refreshments. Please click through to Eventbrite to reserve! (Members are very welcome to buy tickets for guests or forward the link to friends.)

  • VICA members including Dean Duke, Sarah Cantwell, Clare Daly joined by Senator Billy Lawless and Breda Corish of the @londonirisharc . Really interesting debate on whether Irish emigrants deserve to keep their right to vote. With most European countries allowing their citizens to vote via postal vote or online, this is something Ireland has not embraced yet.
  • We came second! Thanks to #ICAP for the Battle of Networks #london
  • We look forward to tuning into @instatubridy tonight on the #LateLate from London. Hoping to see a wide range of Irish in Britain represented ✨

  • We are so excited for super Irish woman @thesineadburke and her success and influence in the fashion world ✨

Last night was special. I was so honoured to receive The Leaders Award - for changing the fashion conversation for good - presented by Marco Bizzarri, the President and CEO of @gucci at last night’s Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Milan. Thank you @liviafirth, @ecoage and @cameramoda for this enormous honour. In my speech, on stage at La Scala, I asked the audience, “What can and will you do to use your power, position and privilege to make this beautiful, exclusive industry more inclusive and accessible to the many, who like me, have spent decades dreaming of a moment like this.” .
[Image description: Marco is possibly the tallest man in fashion and he kindly bent down for this photo. He’s wearing the most decadent midnight blue tuxedo with his trademark frames. I’m balancing the award on his knee - it was heavy - and wearing an exceptional red silk crepe full-length @rochasofficial dress from @matchesfashion. I love this dress and wear it often - not yet @ecoage’s #30Wears, but I’m getting there. 💇🏻‍♀️ by @nicolaghilardi 💄by @laura_mirta] #gcfaitalia
