The Women’s Irish Network has always had a deep connection to their community – and support for the needs of women and children remains at the core of the group’s purpose.
The money raised from the annual membership fees, profits from events and the generosity of our sponsors has now reached a lofty £525,000 in total. These funds have been donated to the Irish Youth Foundation, UK and are earmarked particularly for the projects serving women and children.
2019 also saw some exciting new growth in our own philanthropic initiatives! We have increased our community outreach with the addition of two bursaries to support the studies of women in further education and the arts. The recipients of these bursaries will be announced this summer, so watch this space.
