Earlier this summer with the support of WIN friends and champions, we for the second year running awarded £3,000 bursaries to some incredible Irish women working in the arts, and who are pursuing further education.
This year we were able to award an additional two bursaries to help these incredible women take their careers to the next level. We were overwhelmed with outstanding applications, however with the help of Bridget Kalloushi and Mary Hickman who were part of the interview panel, we awarded £3,000 to each of the following outstanding applicants:
We couldn’t have done all of this without the continued support of our generous sponsors. Special thanks to the Department of Foreign Affairs Ireland-Cultural Relations Support programme for funding the Arts bursaries and to WIN champion Vanessa Byrnes for generously sponsoring the Education bursary.
We are certain these women will all achieve great things in their fields and we look forward to following their journeys to the top!
